“Jai Sri Ram’. In 1982 residents of mann nagar met and decided to construct a mple in the plot( measuring One kanal) provided in the colony layout plan.Sh .Onkar nath Mehta was elected to lead the construction work.it was decided to contribute the construction work by residents of mann nagar and approaching nearby other colonies for donation and other resources and sources to start the construction work. With the efforts of all as a result one room was constructed in the end of 1982 to install the dietes (murties).The name was decided to keep on the name of ‘Maryada Purushotam lord Ram” named as Raghunath Mandir.

Installation of diety
In 1982 a election was held and new management committee was formed. Sh. Raghunandan Lal bhanot was elected President, Sh. Sudarhan Sharma as cashier,Dr. subash Chander Sharma as secretary ,Sh. Kasturi lal Sareen as Vice President, executive members were Sh.Onkar nath Mehta,Sh. Satish kumar khindria, Sh. Yash Pal Mahajan and Sh. Bal krishan Sharma.
The new committee decided to request the residents of Batala, Dhariwal, Gurdaspur etc. for Financial and Moral help. Aslo Decided to request then Mahan of Pandori dham(gurdaspur) to install deities and shower the blessings on the presents.
The dities of Ram Darbar was donated by Bhanot Family in memory of their father sh. Tek Chand Bhanot and Mother smt. Padmawati Bhanot. The installation od dities was performed by pujya Mahant of Pandori 1108 sh. Gobind Das ji on 25th, April 1983(12 Baishakh Samat 2040).

Paramhans, ramdin das of mukerian, ,Mahasha Gokul Dass of Dainik Prathna Sabha of Batala,Mata Satyawati of Rangmahal Gurdaspur .Sh Ram Navparcharni Sabha Raghunath Mandir Dhariwal attended the function and showered their Blessings.
Mandir committee decided to form a mahila wing,Smt Suraksha Bhanot,Smt. Kanta Mahajan and behan subhadra were authorised for the purpose.
